So why choose me to capture your special day?

There are many wedding photographers out there in the wedding market and it really is hard to choose one.

All photographers have different styles and different approaches and I always encourage people to make sure they are happy with the choice that they make. Some photographers are intrusive, loud and impersonal and all they care about is getting the shot that they want, no matter how much it interferes with your day.

Whilst I encourage couples to spend some private time with me and the camera at some point in the day, it really should not rule the day. I prefer to record what happens as it unfolds and believe a good wedding photographer should not need to interfere too much with the natural flow of events.

Most people will invest more money in their wedding day than they will in any other event in their life so it really is important that their memories are recorded in a way that is personal and special to them.

The planning stage is always very important. I always like to meet with my clients to discuss formalities and cover all the details of the day to make sure that I don't miss those important personal moments.

Most wedding photographers these days are using digital cameras but not all are trained in airbrushing and post production techniques. I can remove spots, bags, double chins and wrinkles and make the most of the images that I capture.

I believe that a couple's special day should be recorded to tell the whole story. I wouldn't want to leave the reception early if I thought the story wasn't at an end.

I've captured many weddings in beautiful locations with glorious grounds, but because the weather was so miserable on the day we missed the opportunity of recording those beautiful sights. Not to be beaten, we returned after their honeymoon to capture those sights in their wedding outfits to make sure it was included in their album. Some would say that was cheating slightly but I'd rather the weather doesn't beat us!

The wedding album is really beautiful and you would get the deluxe album which is 38x29cm with a choice of covers and two pocket size album which are 15x20cm. The photographs are printed on to the page like a book, on very high quality paper. More albums can also be ordered.

The DVD slide show is a great way of seeing your photographs on your TV through your DVD player and I usually set the picture show to the first dance song or something that is personal to the couple.

I also don't believe that I should be holding the negatives to your photographs to bleed more money out of you after the event. They are your memories and you should have them to keep and make more prints from whenever you like.
